Lately I’ve read books like The Southern Vampire Mystery series, but now that I’m caught up in that particular series, I’m looking for something else.

So are there any good fiction books that take place in long-ago Egypt?
Maybe something about the Gods or Goddesses?
Lately I’ve been really into Egyptian Mythology, so that would be really great!
Oh, thank you all so much!! You helped me out a bunch!

    Remembering Hypatia by Brian Trent
The Akhenaten Trilogy by Paul Doherty (An Evil Spirit Out of the West)
Children of the Lamp by P.B. Kerr (kids/young adult series, Like Percy Jackson, but dealing with Egyptian mythology)
    River God by Wilbur Smith

With the exception of Kerr’s series, these are all historical fiction based in ancient Egypt.

I don’t know any about Egyptians, but if you like that sort of thing maybe you should read up about the Nordic Gods, or the stories of king arthur and the Knights of the round table?
