My family and I are thinking of going to Egypt and I was wondering if anyone has been on a Nile Cruise and which ones are the best to go on. 🙂 Thanks!

We have been on a Nile Cruise, 7 days from Luxor – Aswan – Luxor.
The cruise was the most memorable cruise we have been on and we have done 20+ cruises.
Included in the price were all the excursions to the temples, Valley of the Kings etc: some of the itineraries don’t include this, so it’s something to check before you book.
Ships, believe me, you must pick a 5* ship. The ships usually have two accommodation decks. The swimming pool (very small) and seats are on the top deck. Bar and entertainment area one deck down. Dining Room, Reception and cabins on Main Deck and cabins on Lower Deck.
Shower and washing facilities and toilet facilities are basic but adequate.
Food was very good, served at dinner, buffet at lunch and breakfast. Alcohol and soft drinks were very expensive on board.
It is hard work doing a Nile cruise, you are normally doing your excursions early in the morning to avoid the heat at midday, afternoons are spent on board sailing to next stop. Boat moored overnight ready for early morning start.
The guides are all on-board and stay with you for the cruise, all extremely well trained and knowledgeable.
This cruise is different from the Nile cruises from Cairo. They have a different itinerary.
Have a look at the link, it has tips about choosing a Nile cruise.
