I have heard that Egypt is a lovely place to visit, the link below is Yahoo! Travel. It can find you the best deal for the holiday you want.

I have used it loads of times and it has always found me a bargain, hope this helps.

I went a couple of years ago and booked with a company called imperial travel. I went to sharm but it only cost 500pp for all inclusive for 2 weeks, and since then the prices have dropped even more.

    HI THERE,
Try to go to the"sound and light " show at the pyramids at night, went there last year and was lots of fun..

Sharm El Sheikh city is an amazing place.

As for Cairo, you can go on a boat in the Nile river, go to Al Azhar Park where there is very large space in greenery (but it will be too hot after May).
You can go to Khan El Khalily area , it has both Islamic ad well as Pharaonic views and souvenirs , I took lots of pictures there and did lots of shopping, also do not forget the Cairo Museum and Cairo Opera house (cheap and classic)

Also Al Hussien mosque, Amr Ibn Elas beautiful Mosque, Marie Georges beautiful church (right beside Amr Ibn Elas Mosque)

For modern pops and coffees and amazing shopping go to Mohandiseen territory or to the wonderful City Stars Mall at Heliopolis looks very much the same as the one in Switzerland.

You also go to eat Kebab (wow), and you can go LUxor city where it has more than 10% of world ancient monuments

    Hope that helps !

Hello, I’m Egyptian I go every summer. Here are some tips don’t buy souvenirs they rip you off. I see tourists pay for "genuine papyrus" with 100 dollars. Its ridiculous we point and laugh. For food there a parlor that sell felafel and foul (fava beans mashed up with sesame seed paste and lemon juice) or you could try a beef kebab. Don’t be scared to try new things. Another great thing about Egypt is its great juice stands they sell fresh squeezed mango juice, sugar cane juice (yum), smoothies, carrot juice, etc. and its all natural and 10 cents (American currency)!!!!!!!!! or 50 plasters. When you get your money exchange it at the bank for the best exchange rate not the airport. However you shouldn’t exchange it all in one place. They will rip you off! They have very cheap hotels they go from 1to5 star. If your going to go to a 3 star or higher it will be expensive don’t buy anything there. It will all me marked up for rich tourist. Don’t go to touristy areas. You mention the Red Sea ( it beautiful) but don’t forget to check out the Mediterranean up north in Alexandria. When your going to see the pyramid rent a camel for a day. Remember have fun and don’t worry about clothes Egypt is laid back as long as your wife or girlfriend isn’t in a thong you will be all right. Enjoy your stay.
