    Science happened.
Unfortunately some religions are still stuck in the dark ages.

How come Italians don’t believe in Jupiter? How come Greeks don’t believe in Zeus? How come Scandinavians don’t believe in Odin?

didn’t you read your history book? I’m sure it talks all about the expansion of Islam

They were, until Egypt became a Christian country in the Byzantine Empire. Then the followers of Mohammad came and conquer the country.

So now they are Muslims with a Coptic Christian minority.

They became Christian, and then were invaded by the Muslims.

    They’re mostly Muslims now.

People evolve, same reason we now know the world is round. Hopefully someday we will give up all Gods.

    It’s Ra not Raw.
It’s because the Egyptian civilization fell and the people who live there now adapted to different ways or migrated from different places, some the MiddleEast.

How come people who live in Ireland aren’t all celtic pageans? How come people who have viking ancestry don’t believe in fairies?

Times change. The world changes. The way we see things change.

Just almost the same as how come America has more Christians than Indian Nature Spirit worshipers? Have you not seen that most of them were also converted?

because the good and just muslims came in with there good and holy book the Koran and grabbed their babies by there feet and smashed their heads into a wall until they exploded and then raped all the women age 9 and up and beat them into submission until they were nothing more than mindless slaves who live there whole life in fear that the great men who protect them will beat the shit out of them if they speak out of turn or god forbid under cook their food. Before the great Mohammad women in Egypt were great rulers, but after the muslim invasion they soon learned their place, stupid pieces of shit that need to crawl on the ground and kiss the feet of the great man.

How do you know they ever truly believed in many gods in the way you think they believed in them? Akhenaton, re-established the literal belief in one God, Aton. This belief in one God is why Joseph in Genesis could have an intelligent conversation about God to the Pharaoh to the point where Pharaoh believed him so much that he appointed Joseph as second only to himself in Egypt. Same God different name.

Actually about the time the Israelites left the ten plagues probably convinced them their Gods were not very powerful. They even believed the Pharaoh was a God until his first born son died.

AT that time they turned to worshiping the sun and moon and stars.
some say that is who they thought the God of the Jews was.
That is when astrology was born.

A few thousand years later more knowledge of the Universe became available and they realized the sun was not a God but a ball of fire.
About some time after the death of Christ they turned to another form of religion. Taking up the books of the bible Mosses wrote as they came available in Egypt. Bringing together this belief and still keeping the astrology they became a mixture of faiths and beliefs.
So when Islamic religion came around they accepted it. Everyone in Egypt is not muslim. They are still a combination of beliefs.

Egypt is a Muslim country because it is the next door neighbor of the country where Islam was born (Sa’udi Arabia — land of Mecca and Medina.)

it’s Rah, or Ra, not, ‘Raw’. the Anunnaki where of Sumer. I think the Egyptians where the ones who had the Nefilim. I don’t know much about the Nefilim, I can only find them mentioned in Zechariah Sitchin’s work. the reason they don’t worship the Old Gods any more is because Christianity took over, and became the dominate religion in Egypt. though Christianity has been lowering in number, I would be surprised, but happy to see the Old Gods of the fallen worlds to be revived, more so the Egyptian and Sumerian gods though.

I don’t believe that all Egyptians don’t believe in the old GODS, and many others do too. By the way, for the record, "Raw" means uncooked. I believe you are talking about Ra. Blessings.
