According to Herodotus, many came from the Pelasgians and Poseidon came from Libya.

All gods without any exception came from the same source and that was the imagination of man.

There is no such thing as god, it is all a myth, fairy tale and a means to control simple minded and frightened people.

Religion flourishes in conditions of ignorance and poverty.

Why then is America superficially such a religious country? It is not in practice. The plethora of U.S. religions serve a social function. It is highly improbable that Mormons, Jehovahs Witnesses, Charismatic Christians, Catholics, and Jews are all correct. yet each one is convinced they alone have the answer.

It is all mass hysteria of the most foolhardy kind.
